Our StoryGreenfeet Guides is all about creating meaningful connections between children and the cultures and landscapes of our planet.
The idea was born at the temple of Angkor Wat in Cambodia in 2013: that's where Greenfeet Guides Ambika Anand Prokop stumbled upon a formula for getting kids to LOVE exploring the world: Start with a Story, Explore with a Treasure Hunt, Engage with Activities. Ambika was doing a treasure hunt through the temple with her young daughters who were having a lot of fun exploring Angkor Wat. In contrast, she saw many other kids who clearly preferred to return to their hotel swimming pool or spend time on their phone. That’s when Ambika realized the potential for stories and activities to help kids connect to the world in fun and meaningful ways. Each Greenfeet Guide is the product of Ambika’s collaboration with local artists and experts to introduce the best of the local heritage in fun and accessible ways for kids. And every Greenfeet Guide is created in the most sustainable way possible. |
Is Greenfeet Guides really Green?
