It’s not always easy to engage children, but often one interesting story, or one intriguing question can start kids on a journey which uncovers a whole new world…
The idea of writing the world adventure book series was born at the temple of Angkor Wat in Cambodia in 2013 when founder Ambika noticed that her daughters had a lot of fun exploring the temple because they knew its stories and had a fun temple treasure hunt to do there. That’s when she decided to draw on her 15 years of teaching experience and a lifetime of globetrotting, to write story and activity books to connect kids to the new cultures and landscapes in fun and engaging ways.
Each Greenfeet Guide is the product of Ambika’s collaboration with local artists and experts to introduce the best of the local heritage in ways that are fun and accessible for kids. And every Greenfeet Guide is created in the “greenest” way possible with environmental awareness and sustainability an important aspect of our mission.
